March 23, 2017

NextGen CM/ECF, Electronic Case Filing [ECF], PACER, filing claims via the court website [ePOC], filing financial certificates via the court website [eFinCert], website calendars, and VCIS will be unavailable to all users on the following dates and times as the Court tests a 7 day read/write failover and subsequent failback in support of the Courts' "Continuity Of Operations" (COOP) plan for NextGen CM/ECF.

Saturday, March 25th, 8:00AM Pacific to 10:00AM Pacific

The "failover" - where the primary NextGen CM/ECF servers (hosted in San Diego, CA) will be taken off-line and the secondary (or, replication) servers (hosted in Ashburn, VA) will assume the primary server role.

Saturday, April 1st, 8:00AM Pacific to 10:00AM Pacific

The "failback" - where the replication servers (hosted in Ashburn, VA) will be taken off-line and the primary NextGen CM/ECF servers (hosted in San Diego, CA) will resume their primary server roles.

In addition to these scheduled dates and times, there will be a high potential for broken functionality and interruptions in service in NextGen CM/ECF and related applications the weekend of March 25th.
