The Ninth Circuit has extended the deadline for the 2022 Ninth Circuit Civics Contest. Entries must now be submitted by 11:59 p.m. PST on March 28, 2022.

This year's theme is The First Amendment and the Schoolhouse Gate:  Students Free Speech Rights. The essay and video contest is open to high school students in the Western United States and Pacific Islands. Students must reside in the State of Oregon to enter the local contest.
