Kirsten Wilkinson has been selected as the next Clerk of Court. Ms. Wilkinson currently serves as the Assistant Circuit Executive for Court Policy & Operations for the Ninth Circuit. Previous to that, she was the Chief Deputy Clerk of Operations for the United States District and Bankruptcy Courts for the District of Idaho. Ms. Wilkinson began her federal judicial career as an operations supervisor with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Oregon.

Ms. Wilkinson will start on May 10, 2021, to provide an overlap with current Clerk Charlene Hiss, who will retire on May 26, 2021.
