U.S. Bankruptcy Court to Close on January 9, 2025

The U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Oregon will be closed on January 9, 2025, in recognition of President Joseph Biden's announcement of a National Day of Mourning for former President James Earl Carter, Jr. 

All hearings currently set on January 9, 2025, will be held by video or telephone as scheduled unless the affected parties are advised of scheduling changes by clerks office or chambers staff.  Questions regarding such hearings may be directed to the courtroom deputy clerk for the assigned judge.

All payment deadlines currently set for January 9, 2025, are extended to January 10, 2025. For purposes of computation of time and motions to enlarge time under Federal Rule of Bankruptcy Procedure 9006(a), January 9, 2025, will be considered a “legal holiday.”
