Judges of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit have appointed Teresa H. Pearson as the next bankruptcy judge of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Oregon.

Ms. Pearson will fill a vacancy resulting from the retirement of the Honorable Trish M. Brown, who will step down October 2, 2021.  Ms. Pearson will receive the oath of office from Chief Judge Renn on October 4, 2021.
